Rosie Grier, born on July 14, 1932, is a former professional football player, actor, and minister, who made a significant impact both on and off the field. As a player, Grier achieved success as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams, and his strength, agility, and relentless pursuit of opposing quarterbacks made him a formidable force on the defensive line. Grier was a key member of the Rams’ “Fearsome Foursome” defensive line in the 1960s.
This lot is a Roosevelt Rosey Grier rookie football card #101 produced by Topps in 1956.
If the title includes a reference to condition, it is based on the same standards of grading as the professional grading companies. If the condition is shown as a range, we are saying that, in our opinion, the card would receive a grade somewhere within that range.
This card has wear appropriate to its age. It has a scratch that is very hard to see except in the right light. May have corner bumps, edge wear, scuffs, stains, smudges, scratches, or dirt. Please review the included photos of the actual item to make a complete determination of its condition.
