Tom McDonald was a professional American football player who played in the National Football League (NFL) from 1951 to 1961. He was born on November 26, 1927, in Youngstown, Ohio. McDonald played as a wide receiver and defensive back for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers. He was known for his speed and agility, and he was named to the Pro Bowl three times during his career. McDonald also set several NFL records, including most games played in a career without missing a game (149) and most consecutive games with a reception (93).
