1852 Rockwell’s Spanish and Mexican Law Book Advertising Pamphlet With Blurbs

This lot is a single-sheet, folio-folded advertising pamphlet promoting a book called Rockwell’s Spanish and Mexican Law written by John A. Rockwell and published by John S. Voorhies of New York. The subtitle of the book was “A compilation of Spanish and Mexican Law in Relation to Mines and Titles to Real Estate, in force in California and New Mexico, and in the Territories acquired under the Louisiana and Florida treaties when annexed to the United States.” The pamphlet is printed on the first and third panels and includes numerous blurbs of praise from people like Millard Fillmore, President of the United States and Justice John McLean from the U.S. Supreme Court.

The pamphlet is printed on light blue paper and is approximately 9.75″ tall by 7.75″ wide. It will be shipped flat.
