This lot is a quarter-page print ad promoting the 1901 Swift’s American Girl Calendar. The header of the calendar shows four beautiful girls symbolizing the discovery, settlement, development and completion of America. The ad also promotes Swift and Company’s ham and bacon as well as Swift’s Silver Leaf Lard. This print ad appeared in the November 29,1900 issue of The Youth’s Companion magazine. It is approximately 5.5″ tall by 7.25″ wide.
