The Stardust Hotel and Casino, once a prominent landmark on the Las Vegas Strip, opened its doors in 1958. Known for its iconic signage and vibrant, space-themed decor, the Stardust became a symbol of the glamour and excitement of Las Vegas. It was famous for hosting extravagant shows, including the Lido de Paris, and for its association with organized crime, which added to its allure and mystique. Over the years, the Stardust saw numerous renovations and expansions, solidifying its place in Vegas history. However, in 2006, the hotel was closed and subsequently demolished in 2007 to make way for new developments, marking the end of an era in Las Vegas entertainment.
