The Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas, originally opened in 1942 as the Hotel Last Frontier, was one of the city’s early iconic resorts. Known for its Western theme, it played a significant role in the development of the Las Vegas Strip. Over the years, the hotel underwent various renovations and ownership changes, becoming the New Frontier in 1955 and simply the Frontier later on. It hosted numerous famous performers and events, contributing to its legendary status. The Frontier was eventually demolished in 2007 to make way for new developments, marking the end of an era in Las Vegas history.

Roy Clark was a renowned American country music singer and musician, best known for his virtuosity on the guitar and banjo, as well as his warm personality. He gained widespread fame as the host of the long-running television variety show “Hee Haw,” where his humor and musical talent endeared him to audiences. Gunilla Hutton, a Swedish-born American actress and singer, is also well-known for her role on “Hee Haw,” where she showcased her acting and singing abilities. In addition to “Hee Haw,” Hutton had a notable role on the TV series “Petticoat Junction.”
