The Voigt Milling Company operated the Star and Crescent mills in Grand Rapids, Michigan from the late 1800s until 1955.

This lot is an advertising letter sheet produced by the Voigt Milling Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan around 1900. Although Voigt was known for its Crescent Brand flour, the full-color letter sheet is promoting the introduction of their new Mark Twain brand of flour. The advertisement was designed to be folded an sent as a letter. The bifold, four-panel advertisement includes information about the Mark Twain flour brand and an address page with images of the mill. The inside of the letter sheet has room for a written letter surrounded by ornamental graphics. The letter sheet is approximately 7″ tall by 11″ wide when unfolded.

NOTE: The actual color of the letter sheet is the yellow hue shown in the zoomed out photos. Close-ups tend to eliminate the yellow color.

This letter sheet is in very good condition. It has light stains, smudges, edge wear, and toning, but no creases or tears except for very small separations at the top and bottom of the fold. Please review the included photos of the actual items to make a complete determination of their condition.
