This lot is a blank cashier’s check from the Chemical Bank in New York. Established in 1824, the Chemical Bank was one of the earliest commercial banks. The 1830s date of this blank cashier’s check puts its printing very early in the history of the bank. The check is approximately 3″ tall by 8″ wide.
