Prev Next
This lot is a singe-sided, one-page document that transfers land which Seneh Mitchell inherited upon the death of her husband, John, to other members of the Mitchell family. Mitchell family members mentioned in the letter include John, John Jr., Andrew, Asa, Susan, and David.
The extended Mitchell family lived in Temple, Maine and the surrounding areas. At the time of this document in 1829, Temple was part of Kennebec County. It is now part of Franklin County.
The document will be shipped flat and well-protected.

All our items are kept in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.

The document is well-worn and fragile. It has significant edge damage and a hole at the intersection of the folds; however, most of the writing is still legible…if you can read old handwriting (LOL). Please review the included photos of the actual items to make a complete determination of their condition.
