1913 Carnival Managers Association Circus Letter to Huff Brothers Trapeze Show

This lot is a letter of inquiry written by J. George Loos and his partner, Nigro. These two men were managers of many different shows in the early part of the 1900s. This letter indicates they are working with a 12-car circus. The letter is written to the Huff Brothers, well-known trapeze artists from Eldorado Springs, Colorado. The letter asks the duo if they are interested in a 30+ weeks contract with the circus. It also asks them to indicate the number of acts they can do and the style of each act. The letter also mentions a greeting from Elmer Collins whose acts involved riding devices.

The letter is written on Carnival Managers Association of America letterhead. George Loos was the secretary of the organization at the time. it is approximately 11″ tall by 8.5″ wide.
