This lot is a group of two different 1919 receipts from the M. C. Lilley & Co. According to the information on the receipts, the Lilley company was a well-known manufacturer of “secret society supplies, regalia and paraphernalia, and uniforms and equipments”. Each receipt has a different engraved view of the company’s manufacturing facilities. The receipts are approximately 3.5″ tall by 8″ wide.

NOTE: Both receipts show damage from being placed on a bill spike, a common practice of businesses at the time.
