c.1900 Warson and Jackson Vaudeville Acrobatic Comedy and Pantomime Letterhead
Prev Next

This lot is a piece of photo letterhead for the pantomime and acrobatic comedy duo of Warson and Jackson. It’s advertising their show, “Frolic in the Park”. The letterhead has a photo of the duo in the upper left corner and some praise of their performing from the Boston Post. The letterhead is approximately 11″ tall and 8.5″ wide.

Little information is available about this performing pair and this letterhead is extremely scarce. The letterhead has a handwritten pencil address for Joseph Jackson, so it’s possible that the Jackson of the pair is the well recognized Joe Jackson known for his pantomime clown routines. This is a hard-to-find ephemeral piece from the long-gone years of vaudeville.
