This lot is a vintage blank check from the Bowen Coal & Mining Company in Windsor, Missouri. The Bowen brothers moved to Windsor in 1901 to mine the extensive coal seams in the area. The check would be drawn on the First National Bank of Windsor, Missouri. It includes a wonderful engraved image of a coal train car. The check is approximately 3″ tall by 8.5″ wide.

This document is in good condition with signs of wear appropriate to its age. It may have smudges, stains, creases, foxing, fading, small tears, and other condition issues which are typical of old paper items.
