This lot is the third page of a letter written by a son to his father. This page mentions that he is struggling to get over the Western Fever, meaning he wants to travel west. He specifically mentions a strong desire to get to Longmont, Colorado. This beautifully engraved letterhead is advertising George E. Hayden, a costumer and manufacturer and dealer in theatrical goods, society regalia, lodge paraphernalia, banners, badges, etc. The business was located in Boston Massachusetts. The letterhead is approximately 9.5″ tall and 6″ wide.
