This lot is a scarce, original vintage luggage label from the Grand Hotel Ripotot, a hotel “of the first order” in Champagnole, Jura, France. The label is c.1930s and is handsomely designed with a traveling man seated with his luggage which is covered in luggage labels. The label goes on to promote the “comfort, rest, good welcome, good food, and good wine” at the hotel. The blend of orange and blue colors is quite eye-catching.

This original vintage label is approximately 5.25″ tall by 3.5″ wide.
