This lot is an original vintage luggage label from the King Edward Hotel in Hong Kong. The King Edward Hotel opened on October 6th, 1902. Situated in the Chung Tin Building/The Royal Building on Des Voeux Road, the building neighbored the Alexandra Building and overlooked Icehouse Street. The building was ranked as one of the most imposing buildings in the heart of the Colony.

This vintage luggage label has a simple design characteristic of early labels. It includes a crown. The label is approximately 2.5″ tall by 3.5″ wide.
