Prev Next

This lot is a scarce, original vintage luggage label from the Lloyd Triestino Navigation Company in Trieste, Italy. The label is c.1920s and shows a simple design with the name of the company, spaces for the passenger information, and an indication that it was supposed to go to the baggage room. Lloyd’s was one of the first companies to use passenger steamships, and this label is from that period since it includes a space for writing the name of the steamer where the baggage was to go.

This original vintage label is approximately 4.5″ tall by 6.25″ wide.

All our items are kept in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.

We take great pride in the safe packaging we provide for every item we sell. If you are purchasing a paper item, please note that it will be shipped in a stiff cardboard mailer with tracking to ensure your item arrives in the same way it was shown in the photos. We do not send items via USPS letter rate.

This vintage luggage label is in very good condition with its original gum and no major tears or creases. It has some light wrinkles and a small missing piece in the lower right corner. The label may have light stains, edge wear, and toning as expected with old paper items. Please review the included photos of the actual item to make a complete determination of its condition.
