1970s Gutherie’s Digs Pub Bar Menu Grand Rapids Michigan Anthropomorphic Turtles
Prev Next

This lot is a printed 1970s restaurant menu from Gutherie’s Digs in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This unusual die-cut and horizontally-folded menu has a cover side and a matte interior side. The menu is quirky in that it features anthropomorphic turtles at the bar. The menu is extremely scarce, especially since the restaurant is no longer in business. It is approximately 8.75″ tall by 18″ wide when folded and 21″ tall by 18″ wide when opened. This menu is large, and it was folded in half at some point in its life. The fold has been pressed and the item will be shipped flat.

Gutherie’s Digs was a beloved local pub bar with good eats and drinks. It was located on West 44th Street in Wyoming, Michigan, a suburb of Grand Rapids. The building was demolished decades ago to make room for new construction.

All our items are kept in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.

This vintage menu is in fair condition. It has stains and smudges as might be expected from its use in a restaurant. It has a crease down the middle from being folded. Several of the crease lines have edge separation as shown in the photos. Please review the included photos of the actual item to make a complete determination of its condition.
