This listing is a rare piece of ephemera from Fort Wadsworth, a well-known military installation on Staten Island, New York. It is a single sheet report of horses, mules, and oxen received, transferred, etc. It is a large sheet measuring approximately 15.5″ wide by 10.25″ tall. The report is signed by a 2nd Lieutenant in the 3rd Artillery.
Fort Wadsworth was closed and became part of the National Parks Service in 1995.
The report is in very good condition. As expected of documents this old, it has light foxing, light stains, and small creases on their edges. Please review the included photos of the actual items to make a complete determination of their condition.
