This lot is a small booklet entitled “Storm and Air Defense Instructions for Dependents.” It was published in 1959 by the U.S. Army Infantry Center at Fort Benning, Georgia. The booklet provided specific instructions for the protection and movement of dependents of military personnel in the event of a severe storm or an air raid at Fort Benning in Georgia. It also includes instructions for emergency preparedness and items to have ready in case evacuation is required. The booklet includes multiple maps to show designated areas. It is approximately 9″ tall by 6″ wide, and has 14 pages.
This booklet is in good condition with wear appropriate to its age. May have smudges, stains, small creases or tears, and edge scrapes. The inside pages are still in very good condition. None of the pages have writing, highlighting, or underlining and none of the pages are torn. The booklet has a crease down its middle from being folded.
