This lot is a group of 5 pages from March-May of 1826 in the 19th Congressional Session. The pages, which cover both House of Representatives and Senate issues, were removed from a book recording government proceedings and are approximately 8.75″ tall by 5.75″ wide. The documents include resolutions for various complaints brought before the two congressional bodies, most notably, reimbursements for losses suffered during the British invasion of Louisiana in 1814-15.
