This item is a performance program for the play, Louisiana Lou, performed at the La Salle Opera House (aka, La Salle Theater) in 1912. The performance included notable performers such as Sophie Tucker (“Last of the Red-Hot Mamas”) and Bessy De Voie. The Opera House became a movie theater in 1927 and closed in the late 1940s. In the spring of 1950, it was razed to make room for St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
