The Concert for Walden Woods was a historic musical event that was repeated for several years. In 1991, the concert was held at Madison Square Gardens in New York City. Its aim was to raise awareness and funds for the preservation of Walden Woods. Organized by musician and environmentalist Don Henley, the performances featured an impressive lineup of iconic artists, including Don Henley, Bonnie Raitt, Jimmiy Buffett, Billy Joel, and Sting. The concert not only showcased memorable performances but also served as a powerful platform to advocate for the conservation of Walden Woods, closely associated with the transcendentalist writer Henry David Thoreau.
