Vintage Halloween Skull Hand-Carved Bone and Black Stone 23″ Bead Asian Necklace

This lot is a Halloween-themed necklace composed of 28 small hand-carved bone skulls. The skulls are separated by small black stones that get larger toward the middle of the necklace. Each skull has been carved with a face on opposite sides of the bone and is unique from the others. The clasp is a gold-tone box clasp decorated with a Chinese character. The inside dimension of the necklace is approximately 23″.
This vintage necklace is in good condition with signs of wear appropriate to its age. None of the beads are missing and the clasp is strong. One of the skulls sits slightly askew on the strand because the maker didn’t drill the center hole correctly. It is shown in one of the photos.
