This lot is an antique snuff container in the form of a ring. It was made in the Edwardian era around 1905. The ring is constructed of sterling silver and bears a 925 mark on the undergallery (behind the face). Each side of the ring is inlaid with a 14K yellow gold piece. The ring has no gold purity marks, but the metal passed a 14K gold acid test. The center of the ring’s face is set with a beautiful wine-colored garnet cabochon. The ring size is approximately 8.75 and weighs 4.4 grams.

NOTE: The ring has not been polished and retains its appearance as found.
