Lewis and took over running Magikraft Studios that his father started in 1934. He emigrated to the United States in his twenties (1968). He created a number of effects including Sidewalk Shuffle and worked at Earthquake McGoon’s Magic Cellar in San Francisco and on cruise ships. David Copperfield, in his 1991 and 1994 Television specials, featured effects from Martin’s book Martin’s Miracles.
Both booklets have a plastic comb binding, are approximately 11″ tall by 8.5″ wide. Magical Inventions has 36 pages and 2001 Lecture Notes has 29 pages.
