Prev Next

This lot is a group of six flat, flexible magnets, each with a photo of a lighthouse along the Great Lakes coastlines of Michigan, Ohio, and New York. The original lighthouse photos were taken by Bill Penrose, a well-known photographer of lighthouses, ships, and other beautiful things along the Great Lakes in the state of Michigan and other states. The magnets are approximately 3.75″ by 2.5″ and were produced around 1990. The group includes images of the following (date built in parentheses):

  • Thirty Mile Point Lighthouse, Golden Hill State Park, New York (1875)
  • Marblehead Lighthouse, Marblehead, Ohio (1821)
  • Eagle Harbor Lighthouse, Eagle Harbor, Michigan (1851)
  • Round Island Lighthouse, Straits of Mackinac (1895)
  • Tawas Point Lighthouse, East Tawas, Michigan (1852)
  • Copper Harbor Lighthouse, Copper Harbor, Michigan (1866)
