Cybill Shepherd is an American actress and former model, renowned for her work in both film and television. She gained early fame with her debut role in Peter Bogdanovich’s 1971 film “The Last Picture Show,” which earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Shepherd continued her film career with notable performances in “Taxi Driver” (1976) and “Moonlighting” (1985-1989), the latter of which earned her two Golden Globe Awards for her role as Maddie Hayes. In the 1990s, she starred in the sitcom “Cybill,” playing a fictionalized version of herself, which further solidified her status as a versatile and talented actress.
