Bobby McFerrin is an American vocalist and conductor, born in Manhattan, New York, in 1950. He is widely known for his unique vocal ability, using his voice as an instrument to create complex sounds and rhythms. McFerrin is also a talented songwriter and has released several albums throughout his career, including the Grammy-winning “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” in 1988. He has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including Yo-Yo Ma, Chick Corea, and the Vienna Philharmonic. McFerrin’s music incorporates elements of jazz, world music, and a cappella, and he is renowned for his energetic and captivating live performances.
