Chris Jasper is a highly influential American musician and singer-songwriter who has made significant contributions to the realms of R&B, funk, and soul music. Born on December 30, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he is renowned for his association with the legendary Isley Brothers and his role as a founding member of the band Isley-Jasper-Isley. Chris Jasper is particularly celebrated for his skills on the keyboard and synthesizer, which played a crucial role in shaping the Isley Brothers’ signature sound during the 1970s and 1980s. He is responsible for crafting many of their classic hits, such as “Caravan of Love” and “Between the Sheets.” Chris Jasper’s solo career has also yielded a successful discography of R&B and gospel music.
