Claytown Troupe was an English alternative rock band that emerged in the late 1980s and gained recognition for their distinct sound and energetic performances. Formed in Swindon, England, the band consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Christian Riou, bassist Richard Marcangelo, and drummer Daniel Scantlebury. Claytown Troupe’s music blended elements of rock, post-punk, and blues, creating a unique and captivating sound. They released their debut album, “Through the Veil,” in 1987, which received critical acclaim for its raw energy and passionate lyrics.
