Founded by Adam Sherburne, Mark Pistel, and Philip Steir, the band was known for blending industrial, punk, and hip-hop elements with thought-provoking lyrics addressing social issues, activism, and politics. Their album “Friendly Fa$cism” (1991) is considered a landmark work, featuring tracks like “Consolidated Works For Us” and “America Number One.” Consolidated’s music often served as a platform for expressing dissent and challenging societal norms.
