Cutting Crew is a British rock band best known for their hit song “I Just Died in Your Arms,” which became a worldwide chart-topper in 1987. Formed in London in the mid-1980s, the band’s classic lineup included Nick Van Eede (vocals, guitar), Kevin MacMichael (guitar), Colin Farley (bass), and Martin Beedle (drums). “I Just Died in Your Arms,” characterized by its catchy melody and emotive lyrics, propelled Cutting Crew to international fame. The band’s debut album, “Broadcast,” also featured other notable tracks like “One for the Mockingbird.” Despite their initial success, Cutting Crew faced challenges sustaining their commercial impact, and subsequent albums did not match the widespread acclaim of their debut.
