Diblo Dibala, also known as Diblo, is a Congolese soukous musician and guitarist. He began his career in the late 1970s playing in various bands in Kinshasa before forming his own group, Loketo, in the mid-1980s. The group quickly became one of the most popular in Africa, thanks in part to Diblo’s virtuosic guitar playing and catchy compositions. Diblo’s music is characterized by its upbeat rhythms, infectious melodies, and dynamic guitar solos, which draw on a wide range of African and Latin American influences. Some of his most famous songs include “Super K,” “Extra Ball,” and “Andukué.” The photo is approximately 8″x10″.
