House of Freaks was an alternative rock duo that emerged in the late 1980s, consisting of Bryan Harvey (vocals, guitar) and Johnny Hott (drums, percussion). Based in Richmond, Virginia, the band blended elements of rock, folk, and blues, creating a distinctive sound that set them apart in the alternative music scene. House of Freaks gained recognition with their energetic live performances and a string of albums, including “Monkey on a Chain” (1988) and “Tantilla” (1989). Bryan Harvey’s soulful vocals and Johnny Hott’s dynamic percussion contributed to the band’s unique sonic identity.
