Human Radio was an American alternative rock band that emerged in the late 1980s and gained recognition for their eclectic sound and quirky lyrics. Formed in Memphis, Tennessee, the band consisted of Ross Rice (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Steve Arnold (bass, vocals), Peter Hyrka (fiddle, mandolin, guitar, vocals), and Greg Reding (drums, percussion). Human Radio’s self-titled debut album, released in 1989, featured a mix of rock, pop, and folk influences, showcasing their versatility and songwriting creativity. The band’s sound was characterized by catchy melodies, witty lyrics, and an overall sense of playfulness.
