Living Colour is a highly influential American rock band formed in New York City in 1984. Renowned for their innovative blend of rock, funk, jazz, and metal, the band consists of core members Vernon Reid (guitar), Corey Glover (vocals), Will Calhoun (drums), and Doug Wimbish (bass). Living Colour gained widespread acclaim with their debut album, “Vivid,” released in 1988, which featured the Grammy Award-winning hit “Cult of Personality.” Known for their socially conscious lyrics and powerful musicality, Living Colour has remained a significant force in the music scene, addressing issues of race, politics, and identity.
