Paul Kelly and the Messengers were an Australian rock band formed in 1985. Led by singer-songwriter Paul Kelly, the band released a series of critically acclaimed albums throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s. Their music was characterized by Kelly’s distinctive vocals and insightful lyrics, which explored themes of love, loss, and the Australian experience. Some of their most popular songs include “To Her Door,” “Dumb Things,” and “Before Too Long.” Although the band disbanded in 1991, Paul Kelly continued to perform and record music as a solo artist, becoming one of Australia’s most respected and beloved musicians. The photo is from the 1980s-90s and is approximately 8″x10″.
