Max Eider is a British guitarist and songwriter best known for his contributions to the influential indie rock band The Jazz Butcher. His distinctive guitar work and songwriting style played a pivotal role in shaping the band’s sound during the 1980s and early 1990s. Eider’s music combines elements of jangle pop, post-punk, and indie rock, often characterized by its clever lyrics and catchy melodies. His collaborations with The Jazz Butcher produced several critically acclaimed albums, including “Distressed Gentlefolk” and “Fishcotheque.”
