Roddy Frame is a Scottish singer-songwriter and the creative force behind Aztec Camera, a band that emerged in the 1980s. Born in 1964, Frame displayed remarkable songwriting and musical talent from a young age. Aztec Camera’s debut album, “High Land, Hard Rain” (1983), received critical acclaim for its sophisticated pop-rock sound and Frame’s poetic lyrics. Frame’s intricate guitar work and soulful vocals became defining elements of Aztec Camera’s music. Over the years, the band’s sound evolved, incorporating various influences from folk to jazz. Roddy Frame’s solo career also flourished, showcasing his versatility as an artist.
