Shootyz Groove was a New York-based rap-rock band that emerged in the early 1990s, blending elements of hip-hop, punk, and alternative rock. Formed in 1992, the band’s lineup consisted of lead vocalist and rapper Sense K, guitarist Mr. White, bassist Spec, drummer Toast, and keyboardist Orville Davis. Shootyz Groove gained attention with their energetic and genre-defying sound, fusing rap verses with heavy guitar riffs and funk-inspired rhythms. They released several albums, including “Jammin’ in Vicious Environments” and “High Definition.” The band’s eclectic style and socially conscious lyrics set them apart in the music scene of the time.
