Swallow is a British alternative rock band that emerged in the late 1980s. Formed in Bristol in 1988, the band comprises Louise Trehy (vocals), Mike Mason (guitar, keyboards), and Darren Donovan (bass, keyboards). Swallow’s music is characterized by its dreamy and atmospheric sound, often blending elements of shoegaze and ethereal pop. The band gained attention with their debut album, “Blow,” released in 1992, which showcased their distinctive approach to soundscapes and Trehy’s mesmerizing vocals. Subsequent albums, such as “Hush” (1994) and “Blowback” (1996), further solidified Swallow’s reputation in the alternative music scene.
