The Beatmasters were a British electronic dance music group formed in the late 1980s. Consisting of producers Paul Carter, Richard Walmsley, and Amanda Glanfield, they gained prominence for their innovative remixes and original tracks that fused elements of house, hip-hop, and techno. Their breakthrough came in 1989 with the release of “Hey DJ/I Can’t Dance (To That Music You’re Playing),” which became a chart hit and established them as a formidable force in the dance music scene. The Beatmasters continued to create infectious dance anthems throughout the early 1990s, collaborating with various vocalists and achieving commercial success with tracks like “Burn It Up” and “Who’s in the House.” The photo is approximately 8″x10″.
