The O’Kanes were a country music duo that made a significant impact in the late 1980s with their harmonies and blend of traditional and contemporary country sounds. Comprising the talented musicians Jamie O’Hara and Kieran Kane, The O’Kanes brought a fresh approach to the genre, infusing elements of bluegrass, folk, and rock into their music. Their self-titled debut album in 1986 produced the hit singles “Oh Darlin'” and “Daddies Need to Grow Up Too,” which showcased their unique vocal chemistry and heartfelt songwriting.
