Tripping Daisy was a psychedelic rock band hailing from Dallas, Texas, known for their vibrant sound and whimsical approach to alternative rock. Formed in 1990, the band consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Tim DeLaughter, guitarist Wes Berggren, bassist Mark Pirro, drummer Bryan Wakeland, and keyboardist Phil Karnats. Tripping Daisy gained attention with their second album, “I Am an Elastic Firecracker” (1995), which featured the popular single “I Got a Girl.” Their music, characterized by catchy melodies and a blend of psychedelia, grunge, and pop, garnered a dedicated following.
