Voice Farm is an innovative and trailblazing band that emerged from the alternative music scene in the 1980s. Hailing from San Francisco, California, the group is known for their eclectic blend of post-punk, new wave, and electronic elements, which defied conventional musical boundaries of the time. Led by the enigmatic vocalist and songwriter Mykel Board, Voice Farm’s quirky and socially conscious lyrics combined with their experimental soundscapes made them stand out in an era dominated by mainstream pop. Their debut album, “The World We Live In,” gained critical acclaim and a dedicated underground following. The photo is approximately 8″x10″.
