1971 Telephone Pioneers of America Sierra Pacific Chapter Salesman Sample Pins
Prev Next

This lot is likely a one-of-a-kind series of 8 pins that shows the eight stages of creating the 1971 New Year pin produced for the Sierra Pacific Chapter of the American Telephone Pioneers organization. The American Telephone Pioneers were devoted to the technologies used for innovation in communication to benefit people with physical and mental disabilities.

This group of eight pins shows the production of the pin from a blank metal pin face through the addition of each color to the final step of adding the Lucite or celluloid protective top. The last pin has slightly different colors created by the yellowing of the Lucite. All the pins come with standard butterfly clasps.

All our items are kept in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.

This unique group of pins is in good condition with wear appropriate to its age. Some of the gold-tone coating has corroded slightly. Some pins have replacement butterfly clutch clasps. Please review the included photos of the actual items to make a complete determination of their condition.
