This lot is a group of three pins connected to the Sonneti denim jean clothing line SC-51 launched in 1987. The group includes a fantasy Arctic Patrol military badge with a triple-turreted castle and laurels design as well as two SC-51 pins in the style of those worn by English military.

Sonneti is a British clothing company focused on comfortable casual clothing for younger buyers and seeks to position itself as an alternative to retailers such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Jack Wills, and Hollister. In 2009, the company was rebranded SC-51, which was a monicker used previously for their denim line of clothes beginning in 1987. These pseudo-military pins are from a promotion of the denim clothing in the late 1980s. Although other sellers on various platforms are trying to sell these items as military pins, they are not.

The Arctic Patrol pin measures approximately 1.5″ (4.5 cm) tall by 2″ (5 cm) wide. The SC-51 pins measure .75″ (2 cm) tall by 1.75″ (5 cm) wide. All three pins are made of metal and have two pin posts on the back with butterfly clasps.
