“He Lives in a Little White House” is a piece of sheet music composed by Arthur Hauk with words by Arthur Longbrake published in 1906. The piece talks about the life of a soldier living in a tent on the battlefield.
Arthur Hauk was a pianist and composer who lived from 1859 to 1933. He was born in Ohio, USA, and was a pupil of Franz Liszt in Weimar, Germany. Hauk gave recitals in Europe and America, and was known for his interpretations of Liszt’s music. He also composed his own works, including piano pieces and songs. Some of his compositions include “March of the Dwarfs,” “The Joy of Life,” and “Piano Sonata in A-flat major.”
