This lot is a vintage piece of sheet music entitled “Not in a Thousand Years” with words and music by Geo. Fairman. The song was published in 1919 and talks about a man who can forgive a woman who jilted him, but he can never forget her. George Fairman was an American composer and lyricist active during the early 20th century. Despite his success as a songwriter, not much is known about Fairman’s personal life or career beyond his contributions to popular music.
